After World War II, she went to work at the Caro Regional Center where she remained for thirty years until her retirement in 1982. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, playing Bingo, having family parties and attending her grandchildren's events. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Caro and a past member of Caro V.F.W. Post #4164 Auxiliary and the State Employee Retirement Association.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Richard and Gretta (Siems) Michalak of Tawas City, Alan and Karen (Karner) Michalak of Caro, Roselyn and Ken Martin, Jr. of Cass City; six grandchildren, Brent, Wynn, Kellen, Andrew, Emily and Erika; her twin brother, Edwin Kish of Midland; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Kish of Bay City and Elaine Kish of West Branch.
